Discussion, consideration, and possible action on an application filed by Jones Carter Civil Engineering for Salad and Go, LLC, for a Specific Use Permit as required by the Code of Ordinances of the City of Bellaire, Texas (City Code), Chapter 24, Planning and Zoning, Section 24-605, Application for Specific Use Permit, to build and operate a 780 square foot drive-through restaurant at 5201 Bellaire Boulevard, Bellaire, Texas, within the Corridor Mixed-Use (CMU) Zoning District, as provided for in Section 24-536(B)(2)(c) of the City Code.

Discussion of preliminary proposal by Thompson + Hanson for a mixed-use 'Urban Farm' development at 4900 Lehigh Street in the Urban Village (TOD) District (UV-T).

 

 

3.

 

 

Discussion and possible action on a City Council request to the Planning and Zoning Commission to review and recommend to the City Council any appropriate changes to the City's noise and lighting ordinances, and to assess whether any minimum requirements should be established for site security in commercial or mixed-use districts.

Staff liaison report on the status of projects previously addressed by the Commission as well as projects for future meetings.

The Chair shall recognize any Commissioner who wishes to bring New Business to the attention of the Commission.  Consideration of New Business shall be for the limited purpose of determining whether the matter is appropriate for inclusion on a future agenda of the Commission or referral to Staff for investigation.

Comprehensive Plan Update:

 

 

Review the previous feedback to Council in re inconsistencies between the Comprehensive Plan and the Code.  Discussion on a recommendation to the Council for a Comprehensive Plan Update, including scope, methodology, expectations, and possible changes.  Staff will provide background and opinions on the timeline, budget, public input, and feedback opportunities and requirements.
